We will be a family of four very soon and No... we didn’t learn from our mistakes !!
We are expecting our second baby in April next year.
I was itching to post about it for a long time, however I wanted to make sure everything was fine before I let the world know.Now that the scans are done and it looks all good I am relieved.
VK has been super duper excited and can’t wait for April. I told him the news only after I completed 12 weeks and below are some memorable conversations.
Me: Amma has baby in tummy Kanna.
VK: What? What are you saying Amma?
Me: Yes Kanna.. There is a baby in my tummy?
VK: You are joking Amma!! (Said it with a cheeky smile and walked away.)
I didn’t push it too much and left it at that for few days.
Few days later,
Me: Kanna, so what are you going to name the baby?
VK: Is there really a baby in your tummy Amma?
Me: Yes Kanna
VK: You mean your tummy will become big and then u will go to hospital and baby will come (A close of friend of mine had just delivered, so he knew about the hospital bit)
Me: yup... You are right!
VK: I want to see the baby now... open your mouth Amma !! (He actually tried to peep in and see the baby)
Yesterday one of our friends told him, He is going to take the new baby to his place as he didn’t have one and VK wouldn’t accept. When my friend said he really wanted a baby, VK’s response was “You need to do whatever my mummy did to get a baby in your tummy “ I am still to recover from hearing that reply.
