I have been looking forward to Krishna Jayanthi this year. I was hoping to dress up VK and also cook up some sumptuous food and snacks. I came home early from work and made avalpayasam and murukku along with a proper dinner. (Forgot to take pictures though!!). Couldn’t cook more as I thought the festival was on Friday and was only notified at last minute that it actually on Thursday.
Dressing up VK was the hardest part to put it simple words. He just wouldn’t allow us to dress him and screamed his heart out. He hated the chain on his neck and just kept pulling it off every 5 seconds. Typical boy I suppose. Didn’t like his attire either!!! Was ready to rip them and throw it all away.

We had to bribe him with my iphone to get these snaps.
