Why is that I don’t like the words ‘Am going for Tennis tonight”
I am the one who keeps chiding him that he need to be fit and hence ask to go out and play.
However, I don’t like it when he goes for a game.
It actually doesn’t affect any of my or our schedules at all.
He goes to play from 8pm to 10pm on a couple of week nights and from 7-9 on Sunday mornings.
The said times are when I am getting ready to put VK to sleep or are fast asleep.
I should mention that even when he sleeps late at night after his game, he is still the first to get up in the morning.
(Nah… me not a morning person at all:-)
Truly speaking I know and understand it’s good for him and would love to see him play.
At the same time, I hate it when he does the same.
I fume, fret, throw tantrums, even make a big scene and fight about it (yup.. I can be nasty!!!)
I just don’t know why I detest it though.
I jump with joy when he says “Tennis cancelled"
Am I worried, bored, insecure?
But no one of these can be the answer as I am in deep slumber at those times.
And I love tennis too!! So nothing to do with the game as such!
Seems quite weird and just can’t orient my thoughts on this issue.

pre Vk days used to have cricket on saturdays as well.
just cant wait for the day when he stops going!! cant see it anywhere in near future!!

dont ask me to take him along.. thats quite not possible..also I love my sleep...wont trade it for anything else:-)
You know,I am the same too? I hate it when hubby goes away for a game, tennis, badminton, swim anything. I can relate to it and I think its to do with the fact that, he is going away while you are home following the same routine! At least for me, its that! I don't pursue a hobby like him and my life is my kids and so when he does it I can't take it! I know its bad...but hey, its fine to think our way too!!
